Sapa
There is a main town but Sapa is really made up of the surrounding local villages. It started life as a colonial hill station allowing people to escape the heat and humidity as the air is cooler and the mountains covered in a soft mist. Magical rice paddies are cut into the craggy mountains and if you want to trek we can arrange tours for you to see hidden waterfalls and caves set amongst the lush green rolling hills.
Hill tribes such as Dao, Tay and Hmong make up most of the population and we have a number of activities you can take part in with these ethnic groups.
